I had bought an Oyster and it was high dollar junk that failed within a couple of weeks - after looking around I bought the Presto Tilt-n-Drain and it has been great! I should have known to go with Presto again as I was replacing a old Presto griddle that I had at least 20 years before it was time to retire it. Granted it doesn't have the fancy digital temperature gauge like the Oyster or the removable griddle top (I really liked that feature), but the non stick surface is really non stick unlike the Oyster which pancakes seemed glued to after to first use. So I said this is nearly perfect as the only thing I would change is to make they tilt legs or griddle top removable for easier cleaning. It's a bit large for a sink and getting into all the spaces grease can find to get can be tricky, but clean up really isn't that bad overall.The tilt feature is great for omelets or other running things you don't want to go down the drip hole as you can either tilt for drainage or level out for eggs, the heat is good and after a year of use it is as good as the day I got it and it's used at least 3 or 4 times a week. Lesson learned... stick with Presto griddles for true non-stick surfaces on griddles.
